In 1926, Lido Key was opened to vehicle traffic and the Lido Beach Casino, a former top attraction to the island, was also opened this year.
Today where the casino was built you will find beautiful turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico, a sandy beach and pavilion with a lap pool. At the southern tip of Lido Key is a beautiful park offering a nature trail, a canoe/kayak launch and picnic areas.
A stroll away is the famous St. Armand’s Circle, a chic outdoor dining and shopping area.
Home and condos on the island offer mid-century modern and modern-day architecture.
